Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilian Trigo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Diaurum ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júnior Freire having to make a save. After having played for 15 minutes, Bruninho Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diaurum ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júnior Freire came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Diaurum ES's Bruninho Luz. But to his dismay, Bruninho Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Breno Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Sampaio having to interfere. Genílson Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Sampaio having to interfere. Genílson Duarte struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Marcel Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acudes EC. The supporters of Acudes EC booed when Diaurum ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Sampaio having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Genílson Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diaurum ES's Marcel Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Acudes EC's Genílson Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Diaurum ES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Acudes EC:s goal. Breno Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Sampaio having to interfere. If Genílson Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genílson Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Almir Rodrigues hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Júnior Freire made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bruninho Luz sent off a good shot on target. Breno Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júnior Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Trigo in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Acudes EC defense, Bruninho Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Freire. The Acudes EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Freire should have stopped the shot. Marcel Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Prata in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Genílson Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Sampaio was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Acudes EC's Genílson Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genílson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Diaurum ES got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Cearense. Genílson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Almir Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Duarte in the 94th minute of play forced Diaurum ES's goalkeeper Marcel Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Breno Prata came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Acudes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Prata couldn't finish the play. Hélder Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. In the 100th minute of the match Wilian Alcântara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Sampaio skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Acudes EC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
