Rafa Montenegro came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Diaurum ES's Bruninho Luz. But to his dismay, Bruninho Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Wilian Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diaurum ES's Bruninho Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rafa Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match, Wilian Trigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafa Montenegro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rafa Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho Luz in the 35th minute. Rafa Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmir Queirós was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Bruninho Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandeirinha AD's Rafa Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Luz in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Montenegro saved Bandeirinha AD from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's Walmir Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anísio Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Diaurum ES's Edmundo Pereira got a free kick in the 65th minute. Diaurum ES's Marcel Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Diaurum ES from getting a goal against them. If Wilian Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Walmir Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Marcel Sampaio to make any attempt to save it. Marcel Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Queirós in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Diaurum ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bandeirinha AD's João Vítor Nunes tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Trigo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafa Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirinha AD's zone, Wilian Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Montenegro came out of the goal and Wilian Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anísio Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruninho Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Anísio Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diaurum ES were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bandeirinha AD for a fine match.
