Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Washington Brito started the match with the kick off. Betinho Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Maurício Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, LoKs EC's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Branco came free, but Maurício Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Maurício Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maurício Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amílton Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurício Leal was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Diego Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute Betinho Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Matos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Washington Brito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Washington Brito was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. LoKs EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Diego Silva took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Pedro Matos. João Pedro Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Diego Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. João Pedro Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rio Preto FC's Cauã Branco got a free kick in the 31st minute. João Pedro Matos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by LoKs EC's Washington Brito. But to his dismay, Washington Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Diego Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. João Pedro Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Washington Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Preto FC's João Pedro Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Washington Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 minutes of play, Rio Preto FC's Betinho Brodel made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betinho Brodel was the one to do the kick off. If Diego Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Amílton Linares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Brodel in the 70th minute of play forced LoKs EC's goalkeeper Maurício Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LoKs EC's zone, Betinho Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Leal came out of the goal and Betinho Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, LoKs EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Teles to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Maurício Leal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Washington Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. João Pedro Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. João Pedro Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Preto FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
