Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) EDFLA's Tiaguinho Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Albohm in the 5th minute of play. When Antônio Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the EDFLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Arlindo Paulista was a little too slow when Antônio Mendonça got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sílvio Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arlindo Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Banana Super Soccer's Arlindo Paulista got control of the ball when Sílvio Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Banana Super Soccer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Sílvio Berger scored to the left of an out of position Arlindo Paulista, making the score, 2-0. Roland Albohm came free in the 31st minute and tried to tip the ball over Tiaguinho Loureiro, but to the joy of EDFLA's supporters the ball went over. 33 minutes into the match, EDFLA's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Berger came free, but Tiaguinho Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Simões's late challenge caught a Banana Super Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Simões hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Loureiro having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Banana Super Soccer's goalkeeper Arlindo Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Berger. Roland Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Loureiro having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Mendonça made a kick off. Roland Albohm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiaguinho Loureiro having to make a save. A collision led to EDFLA getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Zé Augusto Luz hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Sílvio Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EDFLA and the Banana Super Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roland Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Loureiro having to interfere. Marcelinho Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Banana Super Soccer's Marcelinho Guedes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Humberto Simões sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Banana Super Soccer's Arlindo Paulista didn't even have to move. In the 74th match minute, Banana Super Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Arlindo Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Bebeto Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banana Super Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EDFLA the free kick. 83 minutes into the match, Antônio Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo Paulista. Banana Super Soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 88th minute, Miguel Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Antônio Mendonça notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Banana Super Soccer's Arlindo Paulista. Arlindo Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. EDFLA had won after a very even match.
