After having played for 28 minutes, Tião de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tião de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovanni Guimarães's late challenge caught a Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute Silvinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonsinho Reis in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's corner Afonsinho Reis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arlindo Paulista quite easily take care of the ball. Giovani Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Albohm in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Albohm to strike the kick off in the second half. If Roland Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Geovanni Guimarães got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With 56 minutes on the clock, Olavo Maciel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Banana Super Soccer! Arlindo Paulista had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Afonsinho Reis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 2-0 came in the 58th minute when Afonsinho Reis all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Arlindo Paulista. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Silvinho dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvinho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovani Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Geovanni Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Berger came free in the 70th minute and tried to tip the ball over Giovani Penha, but to the joy of Israel...Apocalipse 3-20's supporters the ball went over. Geovanni Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Giovani Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Geovanni Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arlindo Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho dos Santos in the 82nd minute of play. If Geovanni Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banana Super Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovanni Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Banana Super Soccer's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Banana Super Soccer may have spent more time on the ball, but Israel...Apocalipse 3-20 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
