After 16 minutes, Adrianinho Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeds Porto-Alegrense and the EDFLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. EDFLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of EDFLA booed when Leeds Porto-Alegrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
