An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Fernandez in the 6th minute of play forced Livramento SS's goalkeeper Enrique Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexsandro Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Enrique Soeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 11 minutes, Bebeto Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Areal and the Livramento SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, Fábio Nunes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Areal's João Pedro Dantas. João Pedro Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Nunes in the 22nd minute of play forced Areal's goalkeeper João Pedro Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Alexsandro Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Areal got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Cosme. Jorginho Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Livramento SS! 46 minutes into the match, Areal's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Coutinho came free, but João Pedro Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Coutinho in the 47th minute of play forced Areal's goalkeeper João Pedro Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorginho Coutinho was the one to do the kick off. João Pedro Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Nunes in the 51st minute. If Alexsandro Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Dantas was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Jorginho Coutinho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorginho Coutinho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Alexsandro Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Soeiro having to interfere. João Pedro Dantas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Fábio Nunes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. João Pedro Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Livramento SS. Alexsandro Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Soeiro having to interfere. Alexsandro Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho Carvalho hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fábio Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Coutinho in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Livramento SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
