Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gino Tasso started the match with the kick off. Edinho Dracena made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Sandrinho de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. If Gino Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cervo SC booed when Laranjal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinho Dracena was a little too slow when Gino Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Tasso in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edinho Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho de Godoi in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Luizinho Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edinho Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gino Tasso's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Edinho Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandrinho de Godoi in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Edinho Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Gino Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edinho Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Tasso in the 95th minute of play forced Laranjal FC's goalkeeper Edinho Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laranjal FC's Edinho Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho de Godoi in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Cervo SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
