Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Mota kicked off to start the match. Saboo EC's Júnior Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Leme in the 6th minute of play. Júnior Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Leme in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Saboo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Mota to maneuver through the defense. When Germano Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Barrento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Monteiro couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Luís Eduardo Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júnior Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Mota in the 20th minute of play forced Barrento's goalkeeper Enio da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Enio da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Leme in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Germano Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Germano Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrento's Enio da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Barrento from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that André Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enio da Cunha was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The supporters of Saboo EC booed when Barrento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes André Mota rounded Barrento's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Olavo de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Enio da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Pombal in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Barrento's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Pombal came free, but Enio da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barrento's zone, André Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enio da Cunha came out of the goal and André Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Saboo EC got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Madureira. In the 67th minute, Germano Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Márcio Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júnior Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Leme in the 74th minute of play. André Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Barrento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Recife to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Luís Eduardo Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
