In the 2nd match minute, TheBlacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Zézinho Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marcinho de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serginho Paraense hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cássio Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcinho de Alcântara. TheBlacks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonardo Luz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Paulão Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of TheBlacks booed when Ja matei saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, TheBlacks's Dráuzio de Mendonça tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maurinho de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Luz having to interfere. With a little luck, Ja matei saudade's Leonardo Luz got control of the ball when Paulão Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho de Barros in the 28th minute of play forced Ja matei saudade's goalkeeper Leonardo Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton de Queiroz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dráuzio de Mendonça was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of TheBlacks booed when Ja matei saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Leonardo Luz managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when TheBlacks's Paulão Pernambucano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Ja matei saudade booed when TheBlacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, TheBlacks's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Ceresso came free, but Marcinho de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Paulão Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurinho de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zézinho Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Maurinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TheBlacks's Paulão Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Hamílton de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Leonardo Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheBlacks. 63 minutes into the game, Serginho Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TheBlacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ja matei saudade the free kick. 63 minutes into the game, one of TheBlacks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute, one of TheBlacks:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TheBlacks. Paulão Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Leonardo Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheBlacks. After 82 minutes of play, TheBlacks's Paulão Pernambucano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Ja matei saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Pernambucano came free, but Leonardo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, TheBlacks's goalkeeper Marcinho de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano das Neves. The supporters of Ja matei saudade booed when TheBlacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 100 minutes into the match, Zézinho Ceresso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcinho de Alcântara, 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see TheBlacks lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
