But to his dismay, Paulão Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Papageios's zone, Paulão Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Fonseca came out of the goal and Paulão Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulão Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pedro Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The wind increased when Maurinho de Barros made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Papageios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Pontes to maneuver through the defense. TheBlacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papageios the free kick. Cássio Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Marcinho de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Cauan Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TheBlacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papageios the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Severo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Papageios's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho de Barros came free, but Pedro Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Maurinho de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papageios's Pedro Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Maurinho de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcinho de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Maurinho de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Afonsinho Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulão Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. The Papageios fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TheBlacks were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
