Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silas Paranaense took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Enéas Cerezo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Carlos das Neves skillfully saved the ball. 5 minutes into the game, one of Spartan Legendary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Sapucai. Benedito de Almeida stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Carlos das Neves. 0-1. When Sapucai's Dorival Simões in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spartan Legendary's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Carlos das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival Simões's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Spartan Legendary's zone, Dorival Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos das Neves came out of the goal and Dorival Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Simões in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dráuzio Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Jairo de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapucai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo de Godoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Spartan Legendary's zone, Jairo de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos das Neves came out of the goal and Jairo de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enéas Cerezo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sapucai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Jairo de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. Zé Carlos das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo de Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Sandrinho Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapucai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandrinho Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dráuzio Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jairo de Godoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Carlos das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo de Godoy ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. Sandrinho Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zé Carlos das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. Elano da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Jairo de Godoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 69th minute, Sandrinho Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Carlos das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo de Godoy in the 72nd minute of the match. Fabrício Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere. If Jairo de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo de Godoy scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Carlos das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Paulo Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Spartan Legendary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Zonta to maneuver through the defense. If Jairo de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clóvis Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clóvis Mendonça hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Sapucai played a much better game than Spartan Legendary and deserved their victory. The Spartan Legendary players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
