After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Celsinho Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philadelphia's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 18 minutes, Celsinho Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Philadelphia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Meirelles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almir Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Raúl Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Tasso made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Almir Lopes sent off a good shot on target. If Almir Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The shot was a little too simple and Raúl Tasso could save by the left post. Fred Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Hong Cheng Sha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Philadelphia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville City's zone, Celsinho Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúl Tasso came out of the goal and Celsinho Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arí Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Lopes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Raúl Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Philadelphia. Almir Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Hong Cheng Sha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Almir Lopes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raúl Tasso, 1-2. Sílvio Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anderson Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philadelphia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
