Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Vale started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Anísio Custódio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anísio Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Vergílio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Quirino in the 7th minute of play forced VimdeMarte's goalkeeper Lino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netshoes's Aírton Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Vale in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Netshoes defense, Pedrinho Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Borges. The Netshoes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Borges should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes VimdeMarte got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Seco. After a defensive mix-up in VimdeMarte's zone, César Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Vergílio came out of the goal and César Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lino Vergílio made a huge save. Vicente Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, VimdeMarte's goal looked a bit too open when César Quirino came free, but Lino Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Seco during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernani Seco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Netshoes's Dráuzio Marinho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lino Vergílio but with some difficulty. Pedrinho Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Pedrinho Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. VimdeMarte's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrinho Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Borges having to interfere.

Lino Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Quirino in the 52nd minute of the match. If Anísio Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Patrick Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VimdeMarte and the Netshoes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VimdeMarte getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Patrick Meirelles hit a great ball. César Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osmar Dionísio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aírton Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrinho Toscano went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in VimdeMarte's zone, Anísio Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Vergílio came out of the goal and Anísio Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of VimdeMarte booed when Netshoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Aírton Borges managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when VimdeMarte's Pedrinho Toscano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anísio Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Quirino in the 93rd minute of play forced VimdeMarte's goalkeeper Lino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
