Marcel de Brito was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Rafinha Aguiar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafinha Aguiar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Juvenal Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcel de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Galáticos Futebol Clube's Juvenal Veiga in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Efigenia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, José Pedro de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Marcel de Brito. Marcel de Brito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Pedro de Medeiros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Galáticos Futebol Clube's Rafinha Aguiar made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Pedro de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel de Brito having to make a save. 32 minutes in the game, Rafinha Aguiar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcel de Brito having to interfere. The throw-in from Luís Paulo Alagoano in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Efigenia's Vinícius Veiga. 37 minutes into the match, Efigenia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Aguiar came free, but Marcel de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Juvenal Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáticos Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Juvenal Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 43 in the game by Juvenal Veiga from a close distance when the talented Marcel de Brito managed to make a qualified save. Efigenia's players were relieved. After having played for 45 minutes, Juvenal Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galáticos Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Mário Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Kutscher having to interfere. Dadá de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dadá de Andrade hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Efigenia's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Cavalcante came free, but Marcel de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Efigenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Marcel de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, José Pedro de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáticos Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel de Brito having to interfere. In the 80th minute, José Pedro de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Marcel de Brito. Efigenia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Efigenia's Marcel de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Veiga in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galáticos Futebol Clube's Váldson de Souza got a free kick in the 85th minute. Marcel de Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Cavalcante went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Luciano Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcel de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Dadá de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galáticos Futebol Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
