Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedrão Prado got the match started through his kick off. Mário Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Valdo Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Artur Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bainho and the Erveira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Erveira FC booed when Bainho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Pedrão Prado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Erveira FC's Abelardo Soeiro. Abelardo Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Barros scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bainho's zone, Umberto de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Maciel came out of the goal and Umberto de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Cido Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Durvalino Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Barros struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Abelardo Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bainho. Abelardo Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Barros in the 34th minute of the match. Abelardo Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Erveira FC's Mário Quirino got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Mário Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Erveira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Quirino couldn't finish the play. Erveira FC's Franklin Fonseca pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Velloso during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, one of Bainho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bainho. Valdo Maciel went to the wrong direction when Haroldo Vargas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Erveira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bainho were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durvalino Sampaio made a kick off. Erveira FC's Abelardo Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Gonçalves in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Erveira FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mário Quirino hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Felippe Jacinto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Erveira FC's Abelardo Soeiro didn't even have to move. Pedrão Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Soeiro having to interfere. If Durvalino Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Erveira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Prado came free, but Abelardo Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Pedrão Prado put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Soeiro. Rodrigo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Soeiro having to interfere. Abelardo Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Prado in the 96th minute of play. If Rodrigo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Erveira FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bainho's performance. The match ended with a win for Bainho.
