Denílson Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gino Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Víktor Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Christian do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oeiras AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gino Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víktor Garcia's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. If Denílson Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Víktor Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doriva Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Brusque's goalkeeper Vladimir Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian do Vale. In the 45th minute, Doriva Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Evandro Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Gino Nóbrega made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Moraes in the 57th minute of play forced Oeiras AD's goalkeeper Gino Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeca Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Denílson Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
