Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Claudinei Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encruzo FC's protests and gave Claudinei Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, one of Encruzo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Encruzo FC. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Rabelo AD. Toninho Leão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Válter Dante. 1-0. After 12 minutes of play Encruzo FC's Claudinei Cruz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Válter Dante was a little too slow when Luís Botelho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-1. With his leg Válter Dante managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Rabelo AD's Luís Botelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 20 minutes of play, Encruzo FC's Miguel de Lara made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Luís Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Rabelo AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Botelho couldn't finish the play. Válter Dante made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luís Botelho sent off a good shot on target. Luís Botelho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Rabelo AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tiago Amaral struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Válter Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rabelo AD. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel de Lara was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel de Lara got free with Wágner Meira in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Wágner Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luís Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rabelo AD's Wágner Meira got control of the ball when Miguel de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Rodrigo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Botelho struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Válter Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rabelo AD. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tiago Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabelo AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válter Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute César Carvalho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 83 minutes into the game, Tiago Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rabelo AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encruzo FC the free kick. Luís Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Dante having to interfere. Rabelo AD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
