Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Paulista got the match started through his kick off. In the 16th minute Alex Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauã Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Wilton Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Joanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Arnulfo Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Contria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Ixaka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dagoberto Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Joanico's zone, Alex Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Chaves came out of the goal and Alex Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alex Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Contria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Paulista couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes, Alex Paulista made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Joanico's Cauã Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Meira to make the kick off. João Pedro Neiva came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Joanico's Wilton Meira. But to his dismay, Wilton Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alex Paulistas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Cauã Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alex Paulista hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Alex Paulista got the opportunity to take care of a free kick, it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball hit the crossbar and flew out of bounds. João Pedro Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Meira in the 77th minute of the match. If Giovanni Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Wilton Meira notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Contria's João Pedro Neiva. João Pedro Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th match minute, Contria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Leal to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Cauã Chaves made a huge save. A collision led to Joanico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Amadeu Ortiz hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Arnulfo Ixaka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Contria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Joanico.
