Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Betão Zonta took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Aírton Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Tomé Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Martelo's Eugênio Zonta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Martelo's Tomé Vieira threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aírton Cardoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Remanso's Bruninho Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiago Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tomé Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betão Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter França having to interfere. A collision led to Martelo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. José Pedro Dracena hit a great ball. Oséias Peixoto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualter França. Martelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aírton Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Tomé Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martelo. Tiago Rezende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Vieira having to make a save. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Martelo's Jardel Rosa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomé Vieira. When Aírton Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Martelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Cardoso couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. Bruninho Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gualter França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Betão Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Remanso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Zonta couldn't finish the play. If Bruninho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Remanso's Betão Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remanso's Tomé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Cardoso in the 81st minute of play. Eugênio Zonta hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Martelo's Gualter França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Martelo from getting a goal against them. Gualter França was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Betão Zonta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Betão Zonta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 92nd minute, Eugênio Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Remanso players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Martelo.
