Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Betão Zonta started the match with the kick off. If Gilberto Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute, Betão Zonta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bruninho Paranaense in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Luz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bruninho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Patrick Luz made a huge save. If Bruninho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Remanso's goalkeeper Tomé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Vieira was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Tamanqueira's Hélder Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Betão Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão Zonta's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Betão Zonta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patrick Luz, 1-0. In the 50th match minute, Tamanqueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto de Lara to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Pires to make the kick off. Bruninho Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maicon de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruninho Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Tamanqueira's Hélder Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tomé Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Vieira having to interfere. In the 71st minute Gilberto Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilton Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Zonta in the 85th minute of play forced Tamanqueira's goalkeeper Patrick Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Zonta in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruninho Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Patrick Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilberto Pires fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamanqueira's protests and gave Gilberto Pires a yellow card for diving instead. If Bruninho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamanqueira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
