Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aníbal Urbano got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Maresia FC's zone, Carlos Augusto Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Fernandez came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Maresia FC booed when C.R.Flamengo-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Mané Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.R.Flamengo-ES's Haroldo Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Norberto Paranaense notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maresia FC's Faustão Fernandez. Faustão Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Dito Couto fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.R.Flamengo-ES's protests and gave Dito Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Dito Couto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, C.R.Flamengo-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ticho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Maresia FC's Mané Tinoco in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.R.Flamengo-ES's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the C.R.Flamengo-ES defense, Mané Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Vasconcelos. The C.R.Flamengo-ES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. In the 44thth minute of the game Mané Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.R.Flamengo-ES's Haroldo Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mané Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Vasconcelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mané Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Mané Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. If Mané Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.R.Flamengo-ES's Carlos Augusto Miranda got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Maresia FC's Mané Tinoco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maresia FC's Mané Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Norberto Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Arlindo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maresia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mané Tinoco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Vasconcelos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, C.R.Flamengo-ES's goalkeeper Haroldo Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Tinoco. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Ticho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Haroldo Vasconcelos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hortêncio Amaral struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Haroldo Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maresia FC. Haroldo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Tinoco in the 86th minute of play. Faustão Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Paranaense went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Hortêncio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maresia FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
