Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Túlio de Queirós started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Ruilandia's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Sabóia came free, but Luisão Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauan Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Álvaro do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes River Playte got a freekick which was hit by Dé Pinho. After 19 minutes of play, Ruilandia's Osvaldo Catarinense made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álvaro do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Rodrigues during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcel Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Sabóia in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisão Ramalho saved Ruilandia from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cauan Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisão Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Juarês Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luisão Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Sebastião Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruilandia and the River Playte players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruilandia's Luisão Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Sabóia in the 43rd minute of play. When Osvaldo Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ruilandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Catarinense couldn't finish the play. Túlio de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Ramalho having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cauan Fernandez to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Catarinense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Álvaro do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Túlio de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marcel Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A hard shot 72 in the game by Juarês Sabóia from a close distance when the talented Luisão Ramalho managed to make a qualified save. Ruilandia's players were relieved. River Playte's Álvaro do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Catarinense in the 74th minute of play. Osvaldo Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Álvaro do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Catarinense in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro do Vale saved River Playte from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Ruilandia's goalkeeper Luisão Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juarês Sabóia. Giuseppe Marques lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the referee ended the match the Ruilandia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
