The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute of the match Nelson Passos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raymundo Melendes skillfully saved the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Leonardo Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calleri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jangada FC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Leonardo Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Calleri FC booed when Jangada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Claudinei Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymundo Melendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jangada FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Jangada FC's Igor Alves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the game, Igor Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Raymundo Melendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Igor Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymundo Melendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Igor Alves scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymundo Melendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Alves was the one to do the kick off. Raymundo Melendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymundo Melendes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Alves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. In the 56th minute Igor Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymundo Melendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Nelson Passos from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Raymundo Melendes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Calleri FC's Raymundo Melendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Calleri FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Jangada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Hamílton Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raymundo Melendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Alves in the 79th minute of play forced Calleri FC's goalkeeper Raymundo Melendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anderson Silveira during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anderson Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Claudinei Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jangada FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
