Aaron Chinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pombinhas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Igor Alves scored to the left of an out of position Aaron Chinto, making the score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Marcel Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Campidelis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Hamílton Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Pontes in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Jangada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Vander came free, but Hamílton Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Pontes in the 18th minute of play forced Jangada FC's goalkeeper Hamílton Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto das Neves in the 30th minute of play forced Jangada FC's goalkeeper Hamílton Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Pombinhas's goalkeeper Aaron Chinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio de Medeiros. In the 34th match minute, Pombinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Vander to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho de Almeida hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pombinhas's zone, Claudinei Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Chinto came out of the goal and Claudinei Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Augusto das Neves was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wilian Santana notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Jangada FC's Hamílton Valadares. Hamílton Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Nogueira in the 55th minute of play forced Pombinhas's goalkeeper Aaron Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Travassos got free with Hamílton Valadares in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinei Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Pombinhas got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Arruda. Thiago Vander hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Igor Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Alves in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Jangada FC were awarded a corner. Fernandão Pernambucano went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Anderson Silveira managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Jangada FC's Claudinei Nogueira in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pombinhas's goalie prevented a goal. Pombinhas played a much better game than Jangada FC and deserved their victory. The Jangada FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
