Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wiliam Soares started the match with the kick off. If Jorginho Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleiton Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Penha in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Amílton Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRUZEIRO EC's Cleiton Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Penha in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Lucas Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cleiton Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Comando da Pão Careca F.C's goalkeeper Breno Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Campidelis. Cleiton Motta came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Comando da Pão Careca F.C's Amílton Massa. But to his dismay, Amílton Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Comando da Pão Careca F.C's Breno Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Soares in the 29th minute of play. Jorginho Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Breno Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Jorginho Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRUZEIRO EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lucas Penha came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Comando da Pão Careca F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Penha couldn't finish the play.

Breno Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Campidelis in the 52nd minute of play. Amílton Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Lucas Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Flávio Neto fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRUZEIRO EC's protests and gave Flávio Neto a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes CRUZEIRO EC got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Neto. Comando da Pão Careca F.C's Lucas Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleiton Motta having to interfere. Cleiton Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Penha in the 84th minute. Amílton Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Comando da Pão Careca F.C's Claudinei Silva got a free kick in the 87th minute.
