Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Maria Santana started the match with the kick off. Almir Maranhense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edson Cavalcante. José Maria Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tobi SC's Almir Maranhense got control of the ball when Claudinho Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Tobi SC's Ricardinho Vinhas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joélson de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Almir Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Moju's Claudinho Simão made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Silvinho Goiano had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Gonçalo Moura hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luiz Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Maranhense having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Simão got free with Almir Maranhense in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Tobi SC's zone, Claudinho Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Maranhense came out of the goal and Claudinho Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ricardinho Vinhas made the kick off in the second half. Tobi SC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Moju's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jairo Paiva took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tobi SC's corner Jairo Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joélson de Andrade quite easily take care of the ball. Claudinho Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Almir Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luiz Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natanael Novaes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Almir Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moju. In the 62nd match minute, Tobi SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Moura to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, Moju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Bernardinho Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Almir Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmar Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Joélson de Andrade made a huge save. Almir Maranhense came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Moju's Claudinho Simão. But to his dismay, Claudinho Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Moju's Joélson de Andrade got control of the ball when Osmar Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinho Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Almir Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match Moju got a corner. Tobi SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edson Cavalcante ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edson Cavalcante almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tobi SC's Almir Maranhense did a great save. Almir Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Moju had played much better football throughout.
