In the 40th match minute, Plataforma Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Fantini to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Alfredinho Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebastiana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredinho Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Alfredinho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Sebastiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Massa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Plataforma Futebol Clube booed when Sebastiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
