Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gláuber Pirani started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Rio Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Leme came free, but Nando Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Tande in the 10th minute of play forced Rio Branco FC's goalkeeper Nando Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gláuber Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Oséas Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goldens Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tales França was slow to take the kick. During this time Rio Branco FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Rio Branco FC's José Pedro Costa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tales França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rio Branco FC's Guga Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tales França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oséas Tande was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Goldens Boys got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Bezerra. Wilton Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Goldens Boys's Jorginho Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales França in the 63rd minute of play. Leonel de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jorginho Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Branco FC. 68 minutes into the match, Rio Branco FC's goalkeeper Nando Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Zanette. Gláuber Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goldens Boys's goalkeeper Jorginho Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tales França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jorginho Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nando Ortiz. That made the score 1-1 in the 85 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Tales França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goldens Boys succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rio Branco FC had controlled the match.
