After a defensive mix-up in Escondido's zone, Geovanni Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Amorim came out of the goal and Geovanni Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rony Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Sidney Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Fernando Santos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Escondido's Allan Amorim didn't even have to move. After 43 minutes, Anselmo Schmidt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escondido and the Paranavai players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute of the match Percy Tasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Allan Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Silva in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Geovanni Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranavai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Anselmo Schmidt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Geovanni Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Correia in the 71st minute. After 74 minutes of play, Escondido's Luiz Fábio Nogueira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Escondido's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Silva came free, but Allan Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes in the game, Roger Correia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Allan Amorim having to interfere. Sidney Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Geovanni Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovanni Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Allan Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Roger Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paranavai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Geovanni Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Amorim having to interfere. Paranavai played a much better game than Escondido and deserved their victory. The Escondido players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
