The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saycan EC's goalkeeper Cauan Nóbrega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Cauan Nóbrega made a huge save. Hamílton Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Paranavai's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Borges came free, but José Vítor do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Saycan EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Roger Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Saycan EC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Silva came free, but Cauan Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Elias dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Paranavai's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Moreno came free, but José Vítor do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dedé Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranavai's protests and gave Dedé Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Dedé Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes, Raphael Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saycan EC and the Paranavai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raphael Salgado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Paranavai booed when Saycan EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanni Silva to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Manoel Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Geovanni Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel de Brito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. José Vítor do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Saycan EC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Prado. Geovanni Silva struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cauan Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranavai. Geovanni Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Nóbrega having to interfere. When Paranavai's Roger Correia in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saycan EC's goalie prevented a goal. José Vítor do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Borges in the 81st minute of the match. Agostinho Borges was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Saycan EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
