In the 3rd minute Geovânio Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrício Lucas during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Pameranos SC got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Lucas. Luizinho Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Jiquitaia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Lucas came free, but Edu Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Tande's late challenge caught a Jiquitaia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Tande helped the player get up and apologised. Pameranos SC's Douglas Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Ramalho in the 18th minute of play. Marquinhos Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edu Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Marquinhos Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Pameranos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Mattos came free, but Douglas Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovânio Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Araújo having to interfere. If Geovânio Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jiquitaia FC! Marquinhos Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Paraíba having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Esteves lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Edu Paraíba. In the 43rd match minute, Jiquitaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Giuseppe Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Edu Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Luizinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizinho Mattos to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pameranos SC's Ademar Jacinto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Pameranos SC's Douglas Araújo got control of the ball when Walmir do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrício Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edu Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marquinhos Esteves's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Marquinhos Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edu Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Ademar Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
