Tomé Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Haroldo Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SE Palestra Goia a fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Monteiro couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Goia a's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Berger came free, but Agnaldo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauan Toledo made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SE Palestra Goia a's Erivaldo Torres. Ezequiel Mineiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erivaldo Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. When Cauan Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SE Palestra Goia a fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Mandrak couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Cauan Mandrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ezequiel Mineiro. The goal made the score 2-1. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Goia a's Cláudio Maia got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to SE Palestra Goia a getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Haroldo Monteiro hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Wanderson de Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Eger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cauan Mandrak put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ezequiel Mineiro. Gino Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Mineiro. Ezequiel Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Haroldo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Gino Vasconcelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Palestra Goia a fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a rather tough play, Capistrano's Kiko Cruz got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Cláudio Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SE Palestra Goia a's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauan Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Haroldo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ezequiel Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauan Mandrak in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ezequiel Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cauan Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Capistrano's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Mandrak came free, but Ezequiel Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carlos Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SE Palestra Goia a fully deserved thier win.
