Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dadá Romero made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute of the match, Maicon Miranda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ediberto Lago saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Perivaldo Queirós hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cícero Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Lago having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Maicon Miranda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ediberto Lago. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Romero in the 11th minute of play forced S.E.PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper Hernani Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, PELADEIRO F.C.'s Enio Luz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernani Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hernani Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Cícero Marinho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. S.E.PALMEIRAS's Cícero Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as S.E.PALMEIRAS's Afonsinho Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ediberto Lago. That made the score 2-1 after 40 minutes of play. Cícero Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Lago having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maicon Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cícero Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ediberto Lago having to make a save. If Dadá Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enio Luz got free with Hernani Andrade in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, S.E.PALMEIRAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Custódio to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Dênis Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernani Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Romero in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute of the game, Perivaldo Queirós landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Cruz during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Cruz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rafael Schmidt hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Cícero Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.PALMEIRAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ediberto Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Marinho in the 85th minute of the match. Ediberto Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Lago came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.PALMEIRAS's Maicon Miranda. But to his dismay, Maicon Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. S.E.PALMEIRAS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
