Alex Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Régis Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Vianna having to interfere. Jéder F.C.'s Sidnei Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Mendonça in the 11th minute of play. Régis Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alex Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Rodrigues in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Vianna. Jazz Messengers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdomiro Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Vianna was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Jazz Messengers FC's Nestor da Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Vianna came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Jéder F.C.'s Marcelo Bueno. But to his dismay, Marcelo Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bruno Meirelles scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Vianna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guto Rodrigues hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Eusébio Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Eusébio Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Bueno succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 66th playminute. Oswaldo da Silveira's late challenge caught a Jéder F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswaldo da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Vianna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paulão Borges. After 77 played minutes Jazz Messengers FC got a freekick which was hit by João Peres. Régis Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Vianna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Régis Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Guto Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Valdomiro Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oswaldo da Silveira got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Jéder F.C. booed when Jazz Messengers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Bueno in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alex Vianna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jéder F.C.'s Marcelo Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Nestor da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Sidnei Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Jéder F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jazz Messengers FC throughout the match.
