Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, Guarulhos United MZC's Evaristo Viana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carovi's Jonas Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Kellermann in the 8th minute of play. With his leg Jonas Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Guarulhos United MZC's Evaristo Viana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guarulhos United MZC's Dudu Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Tande in the 15th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Zé Carlos Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carovi and the Guarulhos United MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guarulhos United MZC booed when Carovi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicholas Kellermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Chaves was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Guarulhos United MZC's Dudu Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Soeiro in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Evaristo Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarulhos United MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílton Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Guarulhos United MZC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Arce. Jonas Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Kellermann in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carovi's zone, Evaristo Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Chaves came out of the goal and Evaristo Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Kellermann in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Viana got free with Jonas Chaves in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Nicholas Kellermann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Zé Carlos Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dudu Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Carovi's Aílton Soeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicholas Kellermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Chaves having to interfere. The Carovi fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Carovi's Aílton Soeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonas Chaves came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarulhos United MZC's Nicholas Kellermann. But to his dismay, Nicholas Kellermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With his leg Dudu Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Carovi's Aílton Soeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicholas Kellermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonas Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carovi's Aílton Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes, Carovi's Valdo Matos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dudu Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carovi reached it. Zé Carlos Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Sena in the 94th minute of play. Evaristo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guarulhos United MZC had won after a very even match.
