The supporters of Ayuruoca EC booed when Yuri Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Leite in the 11th minute of the match. Vicente Barreto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ayuruoca EC's Erivaldo Leite shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Ayuruoca EC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Beto Meira hit a great ball. Gilmar Domingues made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Cássio Salles sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, César de Souza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Diogo Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuri Sport Club's protests and gave Diogo Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Yuri Sport Club defense, Erivaldo Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Barreto. The Yuri Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Barreto should have stopped the shot. Cássio Salles in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilmar Domingues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yuri Sport Club's César de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Ayuruoca EC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erivaldo Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Erivaldo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yuri Sport Club's Cássio Salles in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ayuruoca EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th match minute, Yuri Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Elias Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Leite in the 59th minute of play forced Yuri Sport Club's goalkeeper Vicente Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cássio Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. César de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gilmar Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Yuri Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Tande came free, but Vicente Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Cássio Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Cássio Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yuri Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayuruoca EC the free kick. Cássio Salles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gino Alcântara came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Barreto could save by the left post. César de Souza struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gilmar Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuri Sport Club. When César de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Yuri Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César de Souza couldn't finish the play. The Ayuruoca EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
