If Elder Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisinho Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Osvaldinho Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Sérgio de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blizzard SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenosa the free kick. In the 15th minute, Sérgio de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Blizzard SC's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Romero came free, but Osvaldinho Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Blizzard SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luizinho Santana hit a great ball. Blizzard SC's Osvaldinho Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Romero in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blizzard SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiago Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Arenosa's players had a chance to rest. The Arenosa fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Arenosa's Luisinho Toscano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elder Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldinho Sá came out and tried to block the shot, but Elder Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Luisinho Toscano struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Osvaldinho Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arenosa. After 33 played minutes Blizzard SC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Queirós. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Velloso in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tião Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvinho Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Osvaldinho Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luisinho Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Osvaldinho Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

62 minutes into the match, Blizzard SC's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Romero came free, but Osvaldinho Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arenosa getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jeferson Arruda hit a great ball. Elder Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tião Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Velloso in the 73rd minute. Osvaldinho Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Luisinho Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Blizzard SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hermínio Queirós hit a great ball. Arenosa's Tiago Lago couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Blizzard SC. When Elder Romero came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Arenosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Romero couldn't finish the play. In the 88thth minute of the game Elder Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blizzard SC's Osvaldinho Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 minutes, Luisinho Toscano made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Blizzard SC's Osvaldinho Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Osvaldinho Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 98 minutes into the game, when Jeferson Arruda put in a rough tackle. There was no doubt that Arenosa were the better team. Arenosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
