Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adelino Salles kicked off to start the match. After 7 minutes, Clemente Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carazinho and the sport clube seco players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Kléber Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Luís Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Salles in the 17th minute of the match. Carazinho's Amílton Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando de Carvalho in the 30th minute of play. Luiz de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Amílton Siqueira made a huge save. The supporters of Carazinho booed when sport clube seco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléber Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Kléber Souza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of sport clube seco's Pedro Luís Reis. Pedro Luís Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Willian Paraibano's late challenge caught a Carazinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. Willian Paraibano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes, Carazinho's Ernesto Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luís Reis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carazinho reached it. When Willian Paraibano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Willian Paraibano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Salles in the 46th minute of play. Pedro Luís Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Salles in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Carazinho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Pedro Luiz Correia fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carazinho's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Correia a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Carazinho got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson de Souza. Pedro Luiz Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Reis made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Carazinho's Adelino Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Adelino Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Reis was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Pedro Luís Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Luís Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st match minute, sport clube seco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Teixeira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Luís Reis. sport clube seco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Luiz de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kléber Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Luís Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Souza in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Souza got free with Pedro Luís Reis in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adelino Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Luís Reis came out of the goal and Kléber Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 94th minute of the match Jorginho de Queiroz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorginho de Queiroz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
