Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anselmo Melo kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Norwich City FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Aníbal Paraense hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Melo got free with Maicon Teixeira in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Guaiquica getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gilberto Siqueira hit a great ball. Anselmo Melo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Maicon Teixeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13th minute, Ramiro Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Norwich City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Carioca came free, but Fred de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Anselmo Melo from a close distance when the talented Maicon Teixeira managed to make a qualified save. Guaiquica's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Maicon Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Guaiquica's zone, Giuseppe da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Teixeira came out of the goal and Giuseppe da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Melo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Maicon Teixeira 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Anselmo Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Anselmo Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Teixeira. Guaiquica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Guaiquica's zone, Anselmo Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Teixeira came out of the goal and Anselmo Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Anselmo Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaiquica's Maicon Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aírton Maranhense to strike the kick off in the second half. Maicon Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Melo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Aníbal Paraense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norwich City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Norwich City FC's Anselmo Melo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maicon Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90thth minute of the game Anselmo Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaiquica's Maicon Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Anselmo Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Teixeira. Guaiquica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Norwich City FC had played much better football throughout.
