In the 15th minute, Maicon Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Real Madrid's Erivaldo Cerezo in the 20th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ismael Romero was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Coroata through an amazing save. Thanks to some nice moves Ulisses Cosme could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Ismael Romero however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Prata in the 23rd minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Eurico Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Carlos Alberto Gaúcho got a free kick in the 25th minute. Amílton Senna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eurico Almeida. Real Madrid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Coroata booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses Cosme during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 30 minutes into the match, Erasmo Prata notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Madrid's Eurico Almeida. Eurico Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erivaldo Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. 53 minutes into the match, Coroata's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Cerezo came free, but Ismael Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Erasmo Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coroata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luís de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coroata getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Maicon Furlan hit a great ball. Ismael Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Cosme in the 67th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Coroata got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Carneiro. When Real Madrid's Ulisses Cosme in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coroata's goalie prevented a goal. Ismael Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Cerezo in the 72nd minute of the match. Coroata's Maicon Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. José Maria Fontes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Cosme in the 83rd minute of play forced Coroata's goalkeeper Ismael Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurico Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Rezende in the 87th minute of play. Erasmo Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eurico Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Prata went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Erasmo Prata came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Coroata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Prata couldn't finish the play. Coroata's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
