Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredinho Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alfredinho Valadares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Eurico Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute Arí Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Almeida having to interfere. Eurico Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredinho Valadares in the 31st minute. If Erivaldo Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulisses Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dinei da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Madrid's Eurico Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erivaldo Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. When Alfredinho Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Remedio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Valadares couldn't finish the play. Remedio's Arí Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredinho Valadares struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Eurico Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Remedio. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Alfredinho Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Almeida came out of the goal and Alfredinho Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arí Paulista's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The referee gave Remedio a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by William Prestes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Madrid's Eurico Almeida. 3-0. In the 78th minute, Ulisses Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes in the game, Ulisses Cosme fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dinei da Rocha having to interfere. Arí Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Valadares struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eurico Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Remedio. Eurico Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Paulista in the 99th minute of the match. When José Maria Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 100th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave José Maria Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's José Maria Fontes got a free kick in the 100th minute. Elder Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 101st minute of the match.
