The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Fabiano Pires scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Paraibano, making the score, 1-1. After 77 played minutes, S.C Petrolina em Vermelho's Kiko de Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Sabóia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C Petrolina em Vermelho reached it. Adelino Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
