Almir Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Golden Warriors getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Silas Marques hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Pedrão Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Pedro Rocha skillfully saved the ball. Amoreira EC's Almir Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Osvaldo de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almir Félix struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Zé Pedro Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amoreira EC. Sidney Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Eduardo Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Warriors. With a little luck, Golden Warriors's Zé Pedro Rocha got control of the ball when Osvaldo de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amoreira EC's Pedrão Castro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Golden Warriors. Osvaldo de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Almir Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sidney Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Golden Warriors booed when Amoreira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almir Félix struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zé Pedro Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amoreira EC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Almir Félix made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Golden Warriors's Silas Marques got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 57 minutes, Silas Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Warriors and the Amoreira EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Golden Warriors getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Silas Marques hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Sidney Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Eduardo Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Warriors. In the 73rd minute, Sidney Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Silas Marques came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Golden Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Marques couldn't finish the play. Golden Warriors's Zé Pedro Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Félix in the 83rd minute of play. After 90 played minutes Amoreira EC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Romero. Golden Warriors played a much better game than Amoreira EC and deserved their victory. The Amoreira EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
