Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Canindezinho SC's Oswaldo Batista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abelardo Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Sousa having to interfere. Abelardo Velloso's late challenge caught a Promissao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. Maurício Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maurício Fonseca hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Trancoso in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Sousa saved Promissao from getting behind. When Oswaldo Batista, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ismael Sousa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Abelardo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Oswaldo Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canindezinho SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Promissao getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Emanuel Koehler hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Abelardo Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ismael Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Canindezinho SC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maurício Fonseca hit a great ball. Emanuel Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Canindezinho SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cícero Maia was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Canindezinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Maia came free, but Richard Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canindezinho SC's Richard Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Maia in the 60th minute of play. Abelardo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Trancoso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ismael Sousa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Promissao's Fernandinho Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Sousa having to interfere. With his leg Ismael Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Canindezinho SC's Abelardo Trancoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 79 minutes, Abelardo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canindezinho SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Diego Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Canindezinho SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
