Eriberto Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Adolfo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dênis Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Freire in the 34th minute of the match. If Agenor de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto de Senna's late challenge caught a Dianopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th match minute, Dianopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Chaves to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 58 in the game by Agenor de Almeida from a close distance when the talented Eriberto Velloso managed to make a qualified save. Titanium FC's players were relieved. Dianopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Augusto Pernambucano hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dênis Rosado. Dianopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, Titanium FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Souza. Agenor de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Velloso having to interfere.
