Edu Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Fontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nico Gomes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Paulão Rosado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 35th minute, Erik Paranaense made a precise shot to the right of Edu Hoffmann. Iraty Titans Futbool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Hugo Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Gomes in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Paranaense in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Hoffmann saved Iraty Titans Futbool from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Iraty Titans Futbool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Rosado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iraty Titans Futbool's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
