Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válbson Reis started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Nildo Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Hílton França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pranchado the free kick. After 9 played minutes Prea got a freekick which was hit by Hílton França. With a little luck, Pranchado's Alex Hoffmann got control of the ball when Francisco Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Válbson Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Reis in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Pranchado's Haroldo Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raphael Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Nildo Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Meirelles in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Rezende saved Prea from getting behind. Francisco Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Aluísio Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Pranchado's goalkeeper Alex Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Eger. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When Válbson Reis came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Prea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válbson Reis couldn't finish the play. Alex Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Eger went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute Válbson Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Prea's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Meirelles came free, but Raphael Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 87th minute of the match Hílton França completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hílton França a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the referee ended the match the Prea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
