Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Luís Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Guaicara's Albertinho Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olívio Botelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Guaicara fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Guaicara's Valério de Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertinho Vinhas in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albertinho Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, qnq5 futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Valério de Barros came free, but Olívio Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Botelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério de Barros's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Albertinho Vinhas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of qnq5 futebol clube's Olívio Botelho. Olívio Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Vinhas in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olívio Botelho saved qnq5 futebol clube from getting behind. Olívio Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of qnq5 futebol clube booed when Guaicara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlinhos Motta in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dedê Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albertinho Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Botelho having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertinho Vinhas made a kick off. When Jardel Santana came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the qnq5 futebol clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jardel Santana couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Guaicara's Frank Ramalho got a free kick in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luís Aguiar during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guaicara booed when qnq5 futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlinhos Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Guaicara's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Motta came free, but Dedê Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Albertinho Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaicara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Guaicara supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guaicara would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
