Noel Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Diamantino Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulo Renato Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Bruninho Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaudilandia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 28th minute, Yan Paraibano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chorona EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazinho Cosme during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mazinho Cosme hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Paraibano in the 36th minute of play forced Jaudilandia FC's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jaudilandia FC's Luciano Marinho got a free kick in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Chorona EC's Paulo Renato Novaes threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yan Paraibano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute, Bruninho Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Jaudilandia FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mazinho de Queirós hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Yan Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Chorona EC. Angelo Varela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulo Renato Novaes. 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Carioca during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jaudilandia FC's Renato Carioca got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jaudilandia FC's Paulo Renato Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Paraibano in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Yan Paraibano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chorona EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Yan Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorona EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Renato Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chorona EC's zone, Bruninho Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Sanches came out of the goal and Bruninho Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeu Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chorona EC's Romeu Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Lago in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Chorona EC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Válter Pinheiro hit a great ball. Romeu Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruninho Silveira went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Inácio Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Sanches having to interfere. A collision led to Chorona EC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Felipe Penha hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Jaudilandia FC got a corner. Chorona EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Inácio Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaudilandia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
